This drawing is from the same session as the Christmas tree.
Feeling a bit discouraged, I went up to where the rest of the group was sitting and ordered a chai latte and a lussekatt. While eating, I sketched the vase on the table and felt a little better. Quick and easy. It turned out quite cute.

Oh, this is old. But the pictures been on my phone for ages, but I wanted to fix it up a bit on the computer before posting it since the camera in my phone sucks.
I met up with Dani, one of the members of my Urban Sketchers Group, for a cup of coffee and we decided to do a collaboration as we sat there. I drew the angel, she drew the cute tomboy (the background was drawn just as I had to leave), and we coloured each others drawings.
It was a lot of fun and it was interesting to colour somebody else’s work. Something I need to do more often, I think.

When I met up with my USK group in the beginning of December, I was feeling really out of practice. And I think it shows in this drawing of a Christmas tree that was in the mall. This will probably still end up being the groups’ Christmas card, which is fun.

A quick drawing of a stuffed animal that I did before turning in for bed. I call her Majken and she was a gift. My mum gave her to me when I was hospitalised for the surgery last year and she was a great comfort. So I decided to immortalise her in a drawing.

We sometimes meet up in the middle of the week with Urban Sketchers and sketch at this local café. I took inspiration from a shelf and sketched it half as it looked, half as I imagine. I’m really happy with the texture of the bottle and the texture of the plate, even if the right part of the drawing looks a bit funky.

I’ve been having a bit of trouble balancing my new job and my sparetime, so I haven’t been drawing as much as I used to. But then I decided to sit down and make myself draw something, and it turned out to be another abstract human figure. I think this one is much nicer than the one I did for Inktober. There’s a better flow in the lines.
